You can download a free copy of Cinderella.2 version 2.6 here. If you buy a license you can use this license to turn the free version into the pro version.

The free version includes all tools necessary for school usage of Cinderella. You do not need a license key to use it. The more advanced features of the pro version are recommended for university teaching or the creation of advanced content for publication. Also, you can buy a license if you just want to support the further development of the software.

Current stable version is 2.6 build 1610 of 03/03/2012

Earlier versions of Cinderella 2.6 have a bug that prevents the full feature set from being available. Please use build 1465 or newer to fix that.

To install Cinderella on Windows platforms download and run the installer cindyinstall.exe. You will be guided through the installation process. Depending on your Windows version and the installed system software the installation process will vary.

To install Cinderella on Mac OS X, just download the application archive. If necessary, extract the archive and drag the Cinderella.2 application to any location you choose.

For older Macs still running Mac OS X 10.3, 10.2, 10.1 or even 10.0 we also provide version 2.0.17 of Cinderella. However, we recommend to upgrade to Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or higher.

Cinderella.2 is not supported on Mac OS 9. Please upgrade to Mac OS X.

If you have a Java VM (version 1.5 or higher, 1.6 recommended) on your Unix-based workstation, you might be able to run Cinderella. Please download this executable or this archive and run it.

Please be aware that there are too many different flavors of Linux and Unix to be supportable. If you encouter problems, please ask your local guru, or contact us.
