Property 3

The two diagonals of the rhombus are perpendicular and bisect each other.

In the opposite figure,

∵  ABCD is a rhombus
     
     M is the intersection point of its diagonal

∴  AC ⊥ BD                (two perpendicular diagonals)
     
    AM = MC               (M is the midpoint of AC)

    BM = MD               (M is the midpoint of BD)
