Can't add point to object reflected in circle

I can't use the "add point" or "draw perpendicular" line to attach a point to a line that is the result of mirroring a circle by a circle. Is this intended? I hope not - it would really be good for inversion geometry if you could do this.
Cinderella version 2.1 bld 1409
(In the attached construction the two red lines are inversions of the green circles w.r.t. the blue circle.)
